Just finished my morning sesh at St Georges beach, not what I remembered from last year, Its super rough out there. I got so much air I may as well been kite boarding. I went out on my 5.8 firstly and soon realized I was over powered, the water was so churned up I couldn't see the ropes for the lobster pots and took a nasty dive, no damaged though. Came back in and rigged my 5.0, much better and sailed for a few more hours. Got a few small waves, had a lot of fun...Time for a rest now.
I managed to damage my fin quite badly on a rock/reef or something else, I don't recall having this issue last year....I'll just have to remember to stay up wind of the boat ramp.
